Strategy

For nearly 20 years, John Stroobant has provided marketing, market research and strategy to inform boards or directors, management teams, marketing managers or council committees. The core focus of the business has been to provide information, sales and marketing structures and strategies to help businesses grow and become more profitable. Some of the companies John has worked with include: Tile Space, Auckland Council, Panasonic, Red Stag Timber,  Freightways, 2 degrees, Dicker Data, Hafele, Overland, Mike Pero Real Estate, Takapuna Beach and Well Foundation.

John brings the unique experience of someone who spent the first half of their career in structured sales and marketing roles within large system oriented public companies, the second half advising many business owners, management teams and boards of medium and large companies on a wide variety of sales and marketing strategies. In addition, I have applied these same skills to create a successful property investment and strategy company, a financial services company and a market research company. Specifically, John's core strengths are:

-Understanding revenue risks through sales trends and macro-economic factors

-Understanding opportunity and risk based on customer and market information and behaviour

-Marketing – structure and planning, branding, market research, advertising effectiveness, channels to market, ROI

-Sales – structure, approach and performance environment.

Currently John Stroobant provides non-executive director roles with businesses that are looking to increase their sales and marketing capability at a board level.
