Welcome to Captivate

About Us

During the past ten years Captivate has collected hundreds of thousands of surveys from businesses and consumers. We have provided information to inform boards or directors, management teams, marketing managers, council committees, and local community boards. Many clients tell us the main reasons they use our services are that:

  • We come from a sales and marketing background rather than a traditional market research background so this allows us to better understand sales and marketing issues and therefore better able to focus the research to deliver actionable information.
  • We are more cost-effective than many other research providers as we have a very flat management structure and we don’t contract out data collection. This allows you to either reduce your research spend or get more for your research dollar.
  • Our directors are hands-on in this business, practical in their approach, reflective and responsive. They know exactly what is happening with a project at any time, and will provide immediate feedback as the client requests or if there are any issues that need to be flagged.
  • We take the time to understand the environment an organisation operates in and the client’s issues in-depth before we propose any research approach. Getting an in-depth understanding of an organisation allows for a focused research approach and reports that are efficient, easily actionable and cost-effective.

We have a team of telephone interviewers, field researchers and mystery shoppers that collect thousands of surveys every year, as well as the ability to conduct online surveys with more than 180,000 people throughout New Zealand.
